Abbie's Garden Bed and Breakfast, dedicated to my MOM who lost her bout to cancer 2012, HOSTS an ANNUAL EVENT inviting residents on the Burin Peninsula to COME PICK A DAFFODIL and MAKE A DONATION

Daffodil Place dedicated this plaque and an area in their healing garden to my Mom in 2017

She would be so proud that the daffodils she planted some years ago are turning into yearly donations for what was her favorite place to stay while receiving Cancer treatment in St. John's

Join us - last SUNDAY in May - every year/ BBQ / Bonfire & S'mores / Raffles & 50/50 / Bake sale/ Live local Entertainment - we're growing every year

It's a day of FAMILY FUN, bring a chair - stay a while

100% proceeds are DONATED to the DAFFODIL PLACE in St. John's NL

We have over 2000 daffodils on our property!
Help us turn those flowers into donations for the CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY, NL DIVISION

Daffodil Place has become a home away from home when it matters most for many people living
with cancer who have to travel to St. John’s to receive cancer care. Since opening in July 2009,
Daffodil Place has welcomed thousands of guests from more than 140 communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. While staying at Daffodil Place guests have the amenities of home and access to cancer information, support services and evening entertainment provided by many community volunteers.

Every year we bring in brand new chicks (symbolizing new life) and they're born just weeks, sometimes days before our Annual Event.  They're a hit with the children!  They love to hold and pet them, to have their picture taken with them - creating precious, everlasting memories.  It's a day of FAMILY filled FUN - Join us, won't you?

ACTIONS speak louder than CANCER

Daffodil Place is a reality because of the generosity of the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.
